Benjamin Mier-Cruz

After having finished his doctorate at the University of California, Berkeley, Benjamin Mier-Cruz is now an Instructor of Swedish and Scandinavian at the University of Oregon. His main interests are transgender studies and queer theory, Scandinavian writers of color, Scandinavian film, Edith Södergran, Nietzsche, and Swedish language and pedagogy. He is also a translator, and his current research focuses on gender in Finland-Swedish modernism and Nietzsche.
