Stephen Tabachnick

Dr. Stephen E. Tabachnick is a Professor in the English Department at the University of Memphis. His fields of expertise are late Victorian and modern English literature, particularly Anglo-Arabian travel writing; the literature of the 1930s; and the graphic (or comic book) novel. He is the author or editor of ten books, including most recently "The Quest for Jewish Belief and Identity in the Graphic Novel (University of Alabama Press, 2014), "Teaching the Graphic Novel" (Modern Language Association of America, 2009), "Fiercer than Tigers: The Life and Works of Rex Warner" (Michigan State University Press, 2002) and "Lawrence of Arabia: An Encyclopedia" (Greenwood Press, 2004).
