Steven Walker

Steven F. Walker (Ph.D. Comparative Literature, Harvard 1973) is the author of an introduction to the poetry of Theocritus (1979, of a thesis refining, reframing and reconfiguring the parameters of the pastoral genre entitled "A Cure for Love" (published in 1987,and of a series of articles deriving from the initial discoveries of the thesis. He has also published a number of articles on the Jungian interpretation of literature as well as a book "Jung and the Jungians on Myth" (2nd edition 2002). He is preparing another book "Midlife Crisis and Transformation in Literature and Film: Jungian and Eriksonian Perspectives" for publication in 2011 or 2012. He is Professor of Comparative Literature at Rutgers University (USA).
