Val Scullion

Since gaining her PhD at Anglia Ruskin University, Val Scullion has published on Susan Hill, Dennis Potter, Roald Dahl, J. K. Rowling and, collaboratively with Marion Treby, on the late-Romantic German writer and composer, E.T.A. Hoffmann. They have written on intertextuality and remediation in the critical work of Bloom and Hutcheon, and the influence of Hoffmann on the Japanese novelist, Natsume Soseki.
