Neil Gaiman is one of the most famous comic-book writers in the world, much feted for his groundbreaking work on the highly acclaimed Sandman series. Gaiman was part of the highly influential influx of British writers and artists who helped dramatically expand the possibilities of the commercial comic book during the 1980s and 1990s.
