Allyna Ward
I am currently an independent researcher; teaching in a high school and living deliberately on my small farm raising chickens and growing beans. Prior to my current position as an English Language Arts teacher in New Hampshire I was Assistant Professor of Early Modern English Literature in Canada. Before this I taught at Durham University (UK) and Newcastle University (UK) and held a postdoctoral position as editorial assistant for the Modern Humanities Research Association. I am primarily interested in Tudor tragedy and history, and especially how Protestant reform influenced early modern literature. My recent monograph, "Women and Tudor Tragedy: Feminizing Counsel and Representing Gender" is now available in print and as an e-book.
